After 17 years as an aerospace engineer, working on projects ranging from the Space Shuttle to the Mars Rovers, I decided to combine my passion for space with my desire to do metalworking. What emerged from this unlikely marriage is The Copper Star. I chose copper because of its natural durability and beauty.

What began as a simple quest to spend more time with my two young children (now three) has blossomed into a thriving business with customers in every state and five foreign countries. 

The aerospace industry has taught me time again how important it is to do the job right. There are no second chances in space, and likewise, there are few second chances to please a customer. I have built my growing business by doing what I enjoy most, using the best materials to do it, and delivering quality that will be appreciated for generations to come.
